I was given this poster by my neighbor the night he was a server at Haring's first exhibit at Shafrazi gallery. Haring had two thousand copies of his first posterprinted on his own initiative. On June 2, 1982, he transported the stack of paper in a handcart to what was the largest demonstration to date against nuclear weapons and the arms race, which took place in Central Park in New York.
